Traps
generated by this device will be sent to port 162 at the
IP address indicated above. Traps sent to this destination will
include the community string specified here. Traps
may be sent as v1 or v2c. The same application varbinds will be
included in either trap type, in addition to header and varbinds
required for that trap type. (Note: We use the term "trap"
generically here. The v2c "trap" is properly known as a Notification.) The
set of "trap sinks" supported by the SNMP stack is fixed at 5.
Therefore, you may send traps to up to 5 different IP addresses, each of
which may be either IPv4 or IPv6. To
add additional trap destinations, add them here, and then go to the
Trap Summary page and click "Reload SNMP". Go to the File Manager page
and save your configuration file to retain these settings. To
change or remove existing entries, make the necessary changes here,
then go to the File Manager page and save your configuration to the Boot
configuration XML file. Then restart this device. |
